Colour Refresh

It's now been three years since Stampin' Up! had their last big colour refresh, and to keep up-to-date with current trends, they're doing it again!

There are three new colours called Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Smoky Slate, along with seven returning In Colours as core colours are Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Soft Sky, and Wisteria Wonder.

Retiring colours are selling out fast so be in quick if you don't want to miss out.

French Foliage Sympathy Card

 I needed to make a sympathy card recently so reached straight for my French Foliage stamp set.  It's a good all-round set for many projects.

I was inspired by this card at Pinterest and this colour combination.

A Cloudy Pinwheel Layout

 Here's the double layout which matches my last post with much of the same product.

 

It came together really quick, am just loving those little pinwheels!  I also had a play with my new Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate with a little embossing around the edge of each page.

A Cloudy Pinwheel Card

A friend of mine turned 50 recently so it was time to have a play with some new product and make her a pretty card!

 The new pinwheel die is a little fiddly to start with but gets easier the more you do.  It's only $10.95 which is a fantastic price too!

I'm currently working on a double scrapbook layout with the same products so will share that soon.  Inspiration for this card came from here.  The Designer Series Paper and ribbon are from the Sale-a-bration catalogue so are only available until 22 March so get your orders in quick!

Framelit Storage

Here's a nifty idea I saw on Pinterest, attaching magnet strips to your bookcase, wall, inside cupboard, virtually anywhere so that they're all within arms reach!

These are my framelits attached to the side of the bookcase which holds my stamps, dies, etc.  I didn't even have to buy magnets, I just used ones that come in the mail for advertising!

JAI Challenge 151 - Shaped Card

 I've seen a few piano cards on Pinterest and decided to have a go at a Piano Easel Card with Music Notes under the 'hood'.

Once I had cut out the right grand piano shape, it was really easy making the 'keys' with the Word Window punch.

The new Seasonal Mini Catalogue started on 1 February and it's chocablock-filled with gorgeous new products; stamps, embossing folders, framelits, designer series paper and more!
