6x6 Scrapbook Pages - Part 1

O Where O Where Has My Mojo Gone?

Yes, it's MIA! I think it's still somewhere in 2009, but I'm not planning on going back there to find it! Anyway, at least I know WHY it's missing, I've been suffering with morning sickness since Christmas. Yes, #4 is on the way, due early August. Not feeling well can certainly take the wind out of anyones sails. I have had a cleanup in my craft room which has helped, and am very excited about all the wonderful new products that Stampin' Up are releasing on April 1 so that's going to help too! The Big Shot is coming. For those of you who don't know what the Big Shot is, it's a manual die-cutting/embossing machine similar to a cuttlebug or sissix. Clear-mount stamps are also coming, along with new slimmer punches, both of which will take up less storage space, which is always a good thing.

Well even though I'm not feeling too creative, I'll share with you some scrapbook pages I did complete over the last few weeks, and in the next few days some other projects too.

Brithday Choo Choo

My elder son attended his first birthday sleepover a couple of weeks ago so I pulled out the newly retired Choo Choo stamp set and got to work. That set is one I won't be parting with just yet!Stamps: Choo Choo, Right on Track (wheel), Big Bold Birthday ("make a wish")
Cardstock: Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow

It's my elder son's 6th birthday today and I'll show you his card tomorrow, but it's also my friend Steph's birthday too! Steph comes to all my classes here at home so I had to make her something a little different!I cased an idea that was in a recent newsletter from SU! which was to fold punches from the Small Tag punch then arrange in a flower shape.
Stamps: Big Bold Birthday
Cardstock: Whisper White, Bravo Burgundy, Rose Red, Patterns Pack II (Hostess)
Ink: Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: Small Tag Punch, Pretties Kit

HB2U! HB2U!

My younger son Devon, turned 4 today & here's the card I made for him. I covered chipboard letters with DSP, but the "2" is actually just DSP with dimensionals (foam dots) behind. I used a stencil to trace it as I didn't have a chipboard "2". I also didn't have any Tempting Turquoise ribbon to match so coloured white ribbon using my TT marker. He just loved the card. Oh, and we did give him presents too!The background music stamp is from Penny Black. Stampin' Up! don't have anything like it at the moment, but having been a pianist in my past life, just had to buy it.Because the card base is black, inside I attached Whisper White and stamped lines using the long skinny stamp from Big Bold Birthday.Stamps: Big Bold Birthday
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, East Coast Prep DSP (Retired)
Ink: Basic Grey, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Whisper White Ribbon, Photo Corner Punch, Chipboard Letters
