Pony Party Cards

Sorry for the lack of blogging, I've actually been quite busy, craft-wise, and it's time I got back on here and shared some of it!

I made this card for my daughter who turned 4 recently. It's exactly what she asked for, the colours, the stamp set and the shape...
Here another Pony Party card I thought I'd share too. I made it a few months back for my nieces' 6th birthday. I included a set of coloured pencils and my sister said as soon as my niece opened the card, she was off to colour it in!
Can you tell I like to make easel cards?

Birthday Card Books

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, being able to make quality gifts with my Stampin' Up! supplies is fantastic (both for the giver and the receiver)! Here's two Birthday Card Books that I made as Christmas presents, the one on the left for my Sister-in-Law, and the other for my Mother-in-Law.

They were really easy to make and you can find instructions here if you’d like to make one also. Click here for one I made for myself previously. They each cost around $15 to make, using 1/2 a pack of designer paper plus $5 to get spiral bound. I also put a piece of acetate front and back (it's hard to see in the photos) to give extra protection.

Christmas Card Trio

I've seen some lovely Big Shot Scallop Circle Easel Cards (wow that's a mouthful!) on SCS and other SU! Demonstrator blogs and thought it was about time I had a go myself. Quite simply, I was amazed at how easy they were! One of my favourite techniques to use this year has been the Colour Spritzer Tool. It's only $29.95 and teamed up with a $6.95 Stampin' Write Marker, creates a wonderful effect on cardstock. The kids love playing with it too (under supervision of course)!

Stamps: Broadsheet Alphabet, Baroque Motifs, Music Notes Wheel, Best Yet (Retired Hostess)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze, Real Red, Old Olive
Ink: Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Real Red, Old Olive
