I did some creative journalling on this page using a flower from the Good Friend stamp set on it's side then wrote along the stem. I also mirrored the food colouring in my sons' hair with sponging and spritzing (on the title).

Last Chance (Retiring) List

Stampin' Up! have a brand new catalogue coming out on September 1! We have had to wait a long time (17 months) for this catalogue which will bring us more into line with what they are offering in the US. We are now only 2 months behind them! Anyway, there are lots of new products, some favourites are staying too, but there's also some going which is the reason for this post.

Wedding 6x6 Scrapbook Pages

My husband and I have a beautiful big photo album from when we got married five years ago, which by the way was before I started scrapbooking, but I have always wanted to create a new album, giving it a scrapbooking makeover! I decided to buy a 6x6 album, print off my favourite photos from the day (along with ones that told the "story" of the day), but then also add pages every few years as our family grew (which will be one more in the next two weeks)! I haven't got around to finishing off the later, but have done all the wedding shots.
I have used half of Simply Scrappin' kit "Sweet Nothings", but found that I started to run out of designer paper so have stamped with Baroque Motifs and Sprinkles on a couple of pages.

For most of the pages I have used a simple colour-blocking formula, then matted all photos onto Whisper White cardstock and layered them on top, finishing off with lovely die-cut stickers from the Simply Scrappin' kit. I completed all 16 pages in an afternoon while scrapping with my friend!

6x6 Scrapbook Pages - Part 1

My friend Judy has been visiting recently for one-on-one craft sessions. She wanted to make an album for her nephew who is 5 but as a beginner scrapbooker, had no idea where to start. Paeroa Hobbies Fair

Well we spent another nice day at the Paeroa Hobbies Fair yesterday. Here's a photo of Rosie Dunn & I by our displays:


I am now 3 weeks away from baby #4 so between waiting for baby, the fair and school holidays, not a lot of blogging has taken place! No worries, as always I have been crafting away, particularly making 6x6 scrapbook pages, so will share some with you over the next few days once school and kindy starts again.

Paeroa Hobbies Fair

Last Saturday, Rosie Dunn (another SU! Demo) and I had a table each at the Paeroa Hobbies Fair and will do the same this Saturday. So if you're in the area, call in to the Paeroa Co-Operating Parish between 10am-3pm to say hi! We've got a big display each, make and takes along with a door prize for one lucky visitor.
